Community Manager

Dusk is looking for a Community Manager

As the Community Manager at Dusk, your goals will be to grow the community while fostering good relationships and a great culture. You will be the face and voice of our community, making sure that it feels heard, valued and aligned with our mission. You’ll be responsible for fostering engagement, building a network of evangelists, and setting up an ambassador program. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the marketing and content creation team, to make sure that our messaging is not only consistent, but also resonates with our community’s values and needs.

You’ll also drive growth, specifically across Discord and Telegram, growing the community and arranging activities and events to create engagement and increase our brand awareness.

The job

Responsibilities

  • Build, engage, and manage a community that shares Dusk’s vision and values, that helps us execute our mission, vision and strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the community, fostering positive relationships and maintain an open line of communication.
  • Drive community initiatives aimed at building a strong engaged base, creating a “cult following” around the brand.
  • Set up and manage the Dusk ambassador program, identifying key community members to become brand evangelists.
  • Train and manage a team of community moderators, making sure they are well-prepared to support community growth and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing to review and refine content, making sure that all communication reflects the community’s tone and needs, while also “bullishifying” messages where appropriate.
  • Help shape community-driven campaigns and events, create a sense of belonging and advocacy within the ecosystem.
  • Regularly collect and report the community mood and feedback to inform company strategy. 
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure the impact of community initiatives and alignment with company strategy.
  • Develop strategic relationships with KOLs and community stakeholders.
  • Grow the community by increasing members, using your preferred methods (quest campaigns, AMAs, events, etc).
     

Requirements

  • You are passionate about crypto, blockchain and fintech and have a deep understanding of the culture and community.
  • Provable experience managing and growing online communities, especially in the blockchain/crypto/fintech space.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple community initiatives at the same time.
  • A proactive attitude, always seeking ways to deepen engagement and improve community satisfaction.
  • Comfortable with being the visible face of the community where necessary, doing public speaking.
  • Willing to learn and understand the value add of Dusk as a product, and able to communicate this properly.
  • You are located within time zones UTC and UTC +3.
     

Nice to have

  • Experience with KOL engagement and ambassador programs.
  • Familiarity with financial products, either as a user or through past roles.
  • Interest in content creation and the ability to provide creative input into community materials.
