Stakers share in a monthly 250.000 DUSK reward pool
We're thrilled to announce that Block Generator staking has now gone live! It has only been 10 days since we announced the campaign, and we have been overwhelmed by the many sign-ups that we've received. We thank the community for its enthusiasm in pre-registering for our Block Generator staking initiative.

And if you’re not yet familiar with staking on Dusk Network: Block Generator staking allows anyone to stake (or ‘lock-in’) their DUSK tokens to strengthen the overall network while sharing in a monthly 250.000 DUSK reward.
Setting a daily cap on entrants.
As to avoid exceeding the block limits of Ethereum, there will be a daily cap of entrants able to enter the contract from today onward. Today's daily cap is set to 100 participants.
Effectively, only the first 100 staking participants who finish the Block Generator set-up can enter the contract today!
From tomorrow onward, the daily cap will be increased (day by day) to allow 50 additional participants who can stake their DUSK to the contract. The staking contract will go live at 11:00 AM UTC!

Staking is a simple yet beneficial way to be an integral part of the Dusk Network while also becoming an early adopter of truly game changing technology. Every Block Generator shares in a monthly reward allocated to stakers but, most importantly, your staking efforts contribute to Dusk Network’s privacy-oriented consensus mechanism: the Segregated Byzantine Agreement.
The 2 Node Types: Block Generator & Provisioner:
Staking within the Dusk Network means to be a Node in a Dual Node Structure, each fulfilling a different role within the consensus algorithm. The first node-type, Block Generators, are now live. The second node-type, Provisioners, is set to launch in the near future.
