Three new hires join our Research & Development department.

Our hiring spree continues unabated, growing our tech teams with ambitious and skilled researchers and developers. Of the substantial number of new hires who have joined Dusk Network over the past weeks, we’d like to highlight three team members in particular in this article.

We’re immensely excited to share that Emanuele, Pedro & Bence have joined the Dusk Network family. Their combined experience in software development will further strengthen our tech stack, and also serves as a prelude for even further R&D expansion.

Without further ado, meet our new additions to the Dusk Research & Development department!

Meet Emanuele Paterna

During his 15 years as a professional software engineer, Emanuele has been involved in a wide variety of industries, including the traditional (banking & notarization) and the high tech (gaming, telcos & automotive). He attributes his ‘polyglot’ software skills to this dichotomy, making him proficient with many technology stacks in Rust/C/Java/Javascript/.NET and more.

"By joining Dusk Network I have the opportunity to contribute to real change in the financial sector, an industry I have worked in for a large part of my professional career. At first, I was intimidated by the sheer amount of knowledge of the other team members, but ultimately I live by the motto:
"Be brave enough to suck at something new.""

Meet Pedro Moranga

Pedro completed his Bachelor in Computer Science at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in São Paulo, Brazil. In addition to his broad expertise in IT infrastructure (for both large and smaller-sized companies alike), he is also passionate about automation and the simplification of IT and its many processes.

“IT exists to help us and to avoid making things more difficult. The process of achieving constant automation and abstraction is an essential part of the grooming of any system.“

Meet Bence Kodaj

A coder since the age of 14, Bence has an MSc in mathematics and learned C and C++ while attending University. Since then, he has worked in multiple industries (including 3D modeling and aviation finance) and has become an expert in C++. His interest in blockchains and the Rust programming language is what compelled him to join the Dusk Network team.

“I don't consider myself quotable, but I like this quote from David Gelernter: "Beauty is more important in computing than anywhere else in technology because software is so complicated. Beauty is the ultimate defense against complexity."”
