On April 9th, Dusk Network hosted its first annual conference, DuskCon: a multi-hour industry spotlight, streamed live from Amsterdam.
The goal of the event was to bring the knowledge of expert speakers, special guests, and panelists from throughout the blockchain industry together to elaborate on Dusk Network, breakthrough technology, and the future of finance. In addition, we were able to utilize the flexibility and visibility the event afforded us to announce (and elaborate on) new development milestones within Dusk Network, such as Reinforced Concrete, and major upcoming community initiatives, including a $5,000,000 grant program.

The DuskCon Line-up
The two-hour event featured Dusk Network team members from both technical and business divisions, elaborating on the project’s vision and technology. Special guest speakers from a variety of blockchain companies, including Ankr, Harmony, NPEX, and LTO, also shared their thoughts and insights. Our expert panel, including Dusk advisor Bas Kortenhoff, discussed the main friction points and promising adoption signals seen within the future of finance, and our Q&A session answered the community’s most frequently asked questions.

DuskCon 2022
Organizing and coordinating this first Dusk Conference has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Seeing so many Dusk Network community members, and many members from communities throughout blockchain, tune into the live event has been very exciting for us, and we can’t wait for the next DuskCon to come around. Will it once again be a live stream? Will there be changes to the format? Nothing is set in stone quite yet. But will there be a DuskCon 2022? You can count on it!
