Dusk Network’s public testnet will launch as soon as possible.

We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the launch of Daybreak until a later date. The main reason being a critical bug within the state, which has been persistent since last Thursday. This bug could cause delays in the consensus mechanism and thus threaten the network stability. We will keep working until the bug is patched, with a more definitive solution to be applied later as to not further delay Daybreak.
This unforeseen obstacle is by no means insurmountable, but does require a bit more time to resolve. Our teams are working around the clock to remedy the bug, and they’re optimistic that the issue will be resolved in the coming days. We are confident we can support a timely release, as most of the network is ready for launch.
In the meantime, a public AMA with Emanuele Francioni is being arranged to answer all community questions. Keep an eye on our social pages (Discord, Twitter, Telegram) for the exact date and time for you to pose your questions directly to Dusk Network’s founders.
We will also continue to share regular status updates over the coming days, to keep you informed on the latest testnet developments.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to Daybreak in the coming period. If you’d like to see the ongoing progress for yourself, take a look at the Dusk Network Github, where new repositories are posted every day.
