The Job
Responsibilities
• Develop applications using your knowledge of Svelte, JavaScript, and CSS
• Create scalable service using NodeJS and Fastify
• Create reusable components using Svelte
• Keep high code coverage using modern test frameworks
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code, whilst adhering to coding standards
• Use modern frameworks to make the optimum solution that fits the requirements
• Test and maintain these software products to ensure continuous strong functionality
• Recommend improvements to existing software packages
• Manage time appropriately and clearly communicate changes in effort or scope
• Contribute to documentation where required
• Maintain a high awareness of industry news and trends
Requirements
• You have at least 4 years of experience in developing web applications
• You have in-depth knowledge of at least one of the latest frameworks (React/Vue/Svelte) and its ecosystems, and you possess experience with Vanilla JS code
• Practical experience of state and side effects management patterns and solutions (e.g. Svelte Stores)
• You have experience with TypeScript
• You have experience with Tailwind CSS
• You have experience working in an Agile, CI/CD environment
• You have experience working on API-driven applications
• You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
• You have a strong eye for compelling visual and user-centered design
• You are passionate about our project and goals
• You possess strong communication skills and the ability to explain your decisions to the team in written and spoken English
• You are focused on delivering a quality product using best practices.
• You take pride in the work you deliver and are willing to go the extra mile to make something better than it needs to be
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing requirements
• You are self-organized and proactive in improving the quality of our code and documentation
• Prior experience with Fintech products is a plus
• You are located within timezones UTC and UTC +3
Remuneration & opportunities
• Fixed remuneration based on experience and fit with the role
• Variable token-based remuneration for personal and/or company-wide milestones
• Work remotely from home
• For this role we are looking to onboard someone in our team, for the long run. No mercenary work or a specific short-term assignment
• Work by means of independent contracting, no employment
