C# / full-stack Developer

Dusk is looking for a passionate C# developer with experience in .NET and angular, for a project-based assignment. You will be appointed to work on a securities exchange project within the fintech space. The team you will be working in consists of internal colleagues and partners of the company. The work will ideally be done on location in The Hague, although flexibility and working from home are possible.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality performant C# code on an exchange infrastructure
• Work on different parts of the application to replace existing infrastructure
• Implement stable, well-tested and maintainable features in a microservice environment
• Review existing code, improve code quality and collaborate with the team
• Make high quality a priority while not avoiding to challenge existing decisions and code
• Contextualize and share the intent of your code, designs and problems during the development cycles
• Create a collective understanding of our code base with as much documentation as is reasonable
• Navigate confidently through a microservice environment and work on providing stable, performant infrastructure
   

Requirements

• Proven experience as a software developer or in a similar role
• Experience with back-end technologies (C#, .NET)
• Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, Typescript)
• Strong knowledge of- and experience in software engineering principles
• A team player that is perfectly capable to work on his/her own
• Experience with Git, Docker, Unit & Integration testing
• You are located within timezones UTC and UTC +3
   

Nice to have

• Experience with financial markets, securities and exchanges
• Great if you have experience with microservices (Event-based systems, CQRS, Actors) and networking
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Cloud Providers
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and similar Microsoft products
• Experience with GraphQL, SQL & ORMs
• Great if you have knowledge of financial services and exchanges
• Knowledgeable in performance analysis (latency, code performance)
• It is preferred that you are located in The Netherlands
   

Remuneration & opportunities

• Fixed remuneration based on experience and fit with the role
• Work remotely from home, however for this position it is preferred that you are also able to meet up in The Hague, The Netherlands.
