Expanding the Team: Albert-Jan

We are pleased to introduce you to Albert-Jan, who has joined Dusk as a Securities Markets Strategist. 

Albert-Jan brings decades of experience working in and pioneering change in financial markets. He started at the European Options Exchange, back when trading took place on the exchange floor, with traders shouting out their prices. He has also worked at Euronext, Amsterdam exchanges, and the European Multilateral Clearing Facility. 

Albert-Jan played a key role in the transition from floor trading to fully electronic trading, with his design for the derivatives exchange trading system being patented. 

He later moved into the post-trade industry. He was one of the founders of EMCF, now CBOE Clear Europe, a pan-European central counterparty. He has served as CTO and board member for more than a decade.

Albert-Jan is a valuable addition to the Dusk team. His experience not only working in financial markets, but innovating them is a great fit for the work we are doing here at Dusk. We are thrilled to have him onboard!
