We are excited to welcome two new Rust developers to the Dusk team: Artur and Demilade. Both bring a strong passion for blockchain technology and deep expertise in programming, making them valuable additions to our development efforts.

Rust Developer: Artur Velf

Artur has a deep passion for blockchain technology and its potential to revolutionize industries. His focus goes beyond the technical side—he is particularly interested in how blockchain can be seamlessly integrated into real-world applications.

He brings years of experience in Rust development, having worked on various blockchain and distributed systems projects. His expertise spans cryptographic protocols, decentralized networks, and performance optimization.

He says:
"I am excited to work on Dusk. I strongly believe that blockchain technology can transform the world we live in, but most of the community is focusing solely on technical aspects instead of integrating the technology into real-world processes. Dusk does just that, and I am happy to help them with it."

Rust Developer: Demilade Sonuga

Demilade’s journey into computer science started with video games, which sparked his curiosity about computers as powerful machines. That curiosity led him into programming, exploring web applications, experimental projects, and even working with the Rust compiler.

Having recently graduated with a Computer Science degree, he brings fresh perspectives and a strong technical foundation to the team. His expertise in Rust, along with his love for low-level programming and system optimization, makes him a great fit for Dusk.

He says:
"I used to play video games a lot. These games got me thinking about what fantastic machines computers are. One thing led to another, and I started messing around with computer programming, then diving deeper into the infinite rabbit hole of the computer and its many layers of abstractions. Eventually, I got around to hacking on web apps, some downright wacky projects, and the Rust compiler. I graduated with a computer science degree ."
